On a personal note – I – Jules Sismey, CEO & Proprietor – have always loved property and started renovating my own properties over 30 years ago (that’s a lot of experience not that I sound old). This turned into my own business in 2009 after a few years experience in other Lettings companies.
I love to be involved in a project from finding the property, renovations, decorating or just a professional clean right through to Check In with a Professional Tenant.
I find Lettings so interesting from the Legal and Accounting aspects as well as the Client liaison (both Landlord and Tenants sides) and all the computer work in between. I completed the NFOPP Level 3 Award in Residential Lettings & Property Management in 2012, so I am 1 of a small amount of Qualified Managing Agents, also constantly studying to keep uptodate in this quick changing industry.
I still get a great feeling when I meet new Clients at properties and see where their vision goes both with a Landlord or as a Tenant. Some Tenants have been with me 10+ years and some move to different properties with me as their lives evolve. A few have gone from being Tenants to coming back to me as their Landlord which is a great compliment.
With all my children now adults I have even more time to give to the business & to further study.
I also have taken up Clay Shooting in the last few Years and thoroughly enjoy it – even became a cover girl. Along with my dog Monty, Horse Riding & Reformer Pilates I like to keep busy.
I have many excellent Contractors – some have been with me since the inception of Top Hat and some more resent. All are trustworthy in your properties & invoice fairly. Please contact me if you need anyone.
